Delete your Wyu account
Use these steps to permanently delete your Wyu (Worker / Operator) account and associated personal data.
How to request deletion
In the app
- 1Open the Wyu app and sign in with your phone number + OTP.
- 2Go to Profile Settings → Delete.
- 3Review what will be erased vs retained, then confirm deletion.
On the web
- 1Enter your Wyu ID below.
- 2Get an OTP on your registered phone and verify it.
- 3Review the preview, then confirm permanent deletion.
If you cannot open the app: install or update Wyu from Google Play, sign in, and complete the in-app steps — or use the web form on this page.

What is deleted
- Login / phone credentials and active sessions
- Device bindings, refresh tokens, and push notification tokens
- Aadhaar / KYC raw documents and verification uploads
- Social posts, comments, likes, and follows
- Chat messages and chat media
- Raw GPS / location trails from tracking
What may be retained
Workers: attendance, wage/payroll, and site-assignment history; a temporary display name/phone for past duty records.
Operators: GST invoices and statutory billing records; agency payroll / attendance history.
An irreversible cryptographic hash of identifiers (e.g. phone) solely to prevent abuse and re-registration.
Attendance, wage, and verification logs for completed shifts may be kept as required by applicable labour and security regulations (up to 7 years where required).
After deletion
You lose app access. The same phone number cannot be used to create a new Wyu account.
